Two new driving scores from CMT that calculate and summarize a driver’s fuel efficiency and CO₂ emissions from mobile sensor data. People can use these to drive more efficiently, save money at the pump, and reduce their environmental impact. The top 5% of drivers from CMT’s European pilot programs with these scores have saved over €400 in annual fuel costs and reduced emissions by 30%. Drivers everywhere want to know how driving affects fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. According to CMT’s surveys with 3,500 respondents, 77%-79% of US and EU drivers said they would use an app from an auto insurer that reveals their impact on fuel and emissions.
