I often cheat and don't have the answers. But that's the best part of being a coach: you are not supposed to have the answers. Nope. You're supposed to listen! "𝗔𝘀𝗸, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹" is whatever I'm trying to recite before going into a coaching session. Some tips: → Truly listen (your questions will follow) → Ask clarification (get to the root) → Challenge (is it true what they say?) Often our coachees have the answers already, it just needs to get surfaced. How often do you coach instead of telling people what to do?
