We remember and honor Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, whose unwavering dedication and commitment to our community will always be cherished. When visiting Harris Health's Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, she passionately addressed environmental health concerns impacting the residents of Fifth Ward and northeast Harris County.
Jackson Lee's advocacy for environmental justice and public health has left an indelible mark on our community. Her tireless efforts to bring attention to the environmental challenges we face have inspired many and catalyzed important changes aimed at improving the quality of life for all residents.
Her numerous visits and overwhelming support for Harris Health was a testament to her relentless pursuit of a healthier, safer environment for everyone. She listened to the voices of our community, collaborated with healthcare professionals, and championed solutions to the pressing issues of pollution and environmental hazards.
We are grateful for her leadership and compassion. Her legacy continues to guide us as we strive for a cleaner, healthier future Harris County, and beyond.
