Thoughts 💭 I saw this letter a few days ago. My Question is: ☀️What happens to other healthcare interns who might also need this internships. ☀️I mean there are many fundamental healthcare professionals that I personally feel are left out. I am going to give you a few examples 1. Medical Laboratory Technologists. 2. Nutrition and diatetics specialists. 3. Radiology technologists 4. Physiotherapists...etc ✨Why do we concentrate on Doctors, Dentists, Clinicians, Nurses and Pharmacists but leave out other healthcare workers? ✨What about other departments? 💥I support Medical Laboratory Technology interns be given internships with stipends. This will support the Diagnosis, management and Control of diseases in the country. Let's invest in our Professionals! What do you think? If you have a different opinion also don't hesitate to share.

Yes this is a reoccurring theme world wide. Little bit of free advice here, lobby your medical laboratory professional body leadership to get involved at the highest level of Health leadership and lobby your health politicians, in particular the Minister of Health. Clearly you have been forgotten, but most likely because the medical laboratory profession is not in the room in the first instance. It is is easy to sit back and make noise but the challenge is to get in the room and promote a realistic solution with your health and political leadership. A great start is promoting "Know pathology, know healthcare". All the best for getting progress...

We reject that SRC proposal! We can advocate for inclusion of other cadres without subtracting a shilling from current Medical Interns’ Pay
