I can’t believe my business turns FOUR this month! And since I’m bored of doing the “lessons learned” posts each year, this time I’ll share what we’re celebrating with instead…. Outside of taking some days off this week to enjoy the sunshine (hence the no post days 😉)… …A REBRAND baby – or as Ross would say... "PIVOOOOT”! The Women’s Leadership Accelerator (WLA) Community is being renamed to it’s original root name….Women’s Leadership Accelerator (WLA)!! So not really a full rebrand, just a name change 😜 But why?! Now that our private membership has been live for 3 months, it’s become clear that we’re more than just a community. LinkedIn is a community – WLA is: 💛 A safe space for new to seasoned women leaders in male-dominated companies to share their weekly challenges (like realizing you’re in a toxic work culture) & receive customized support, not only from myself but from the other women who’ve been there. NO trolls in here 🧌 💛 A place to get access to proven methods & mentorship to leverage your strengths & own your seat at the table...without sacrificing your personal priorities 💛 An opportunity to get access to workshops & guest experts completely customized to your needs (see the comments for the agenda for our next month of events 😉) With all of this being said, I’ll share ONE lesson I’ve learned in 4 years… If you need to make changes in your biz, you’re NOT a failure! What this really means is you’re a great listener because you’re adapting what you offer your clients based on what they WANT/ NEED – and if you continue to ask for feedback & prioritize their needs (or as I like to call it – focus on creating a SIX-star experience), your biz will thrive. 😊 Fellow entrepreneurs, how have you pivoted in the last year?

Today is the last day to apply for the Community Leadership Accelerator! During the course of the cohorts, in mid and final reviews, we've asked participants to share information about their growth and what they've taken away from the program. Here are a few of my favorites from our most recent cohort. And, if you're interested in applying, the link is in the comments below: —Being part of the Community Leadership Accelerator has been a transformative experience. The opportunity to connect with dedicated leaders, from other nonprofit organizations committed to various aspects of social justice, has been invaluable. —CLA has completely changed how I operate as a leader in my work in that I listen more than talk. In my life, it has encouraged me to be more active in my community. —CLA gives people an opportunity to learn about the self in both work and personal contexts and how that impacts your leadership. This program has helped me to understand what I can change and recognize the things that I cannot. Now I focus more on the things that I can change. —CLA helped show me how I want to conduct myself in life and at work. By having an optimistic take on reality and trying my best to approach situations and issues with kindness and openness. —CLA has been a consistent, positive force encouraging me to reflect on my leadership practice. It has opened my mind to many new strategies for working with others (and understanding my own needs/strengths/behaviors), making me a more patient, open-minded colleague.

SAVE THE DATE We are looking forward to our second annual Student Leadership Conference: ‘PIONEER YOUR PURPOSE.’ Imagine a future where first-generation students aren’t just keeping pace – they’re setting the pace. At ‘Pioneering Your Purpose,’ we celebrate the trailblazers within, those who refuse to be limited by expectations and aspire to carve their own path. This conference isn’t just about finding purpose – it’s about igniting a movement built on the power of first-generation dreams. Here, ‘pioneering’ takes on a new meaning. It’s about shattering stereotypes, pushing boundaries, and leaving a legacy that inspires generations to come. Students are the bridge between their family’s history and a future filled with possibilities. Pioneering Your Purpose is more than a conference – it’s a launchpad for unstoppable change. Students will discover the power within to rewrite the narrative. This is their chance to rise, to lead, and to leave their mark on the world. . . . #create #opportunity #firstgen #leadership #conference #nonprofit #fortworth

Founder of The Trust private community for $1M+ Women Entrepreneurs. Coach+Mentor, Host of NEW Podcast 'Reward' + Glambition® Radio
NEW RETREAT UPDATE: We have a few seats remaining for my upcoming Reignite Leadership Retreat, Nov. 7-9, at Dove Mountain, AZ. If you're a female entrepreneur leader, please read on... (Or share this with an amazing one you know!) We are living… to say the least… in extraordinary times. And as women leaders, many of us are now realizing this is *exactly* why we are here. 💯 This fall, I was craving to host a more retreat-style event, where we can closely work with each other in a group format, as well as enjoy some ‘reset’ time in a restorative environment. A bit more relaxed; a lot more personally powerful. A space where we could all really get to know each other, spend time together, and support each other in sorting through where we’ve been, who we’ve become, where we’re at, and what comes next. Part led sessions, part masterminding, part restoration. >> Because the world is about to need us more than ever. REIGNITE is my new, one-time private leadership RETREAT I am hosting on Nov. 7-9 at a stunning five-star resort on the edge of the Sonoran Desert here in AZ... for approx. only 10 women entrepreneurs who are ready for their next chapter. 🔥 It’s going to be a hot one. And we have a few spots remaining. (Many of the ladies already registered are in the $1M+ revenues, but you don't have to be. We *are* looking for some solid business and leadership experience though. You can see details at the page.) Learn more and apply now to join us now at www.AliBrown.com/reignite, and feel free to DM me with any questions!

3 Powerful Lessons from My Fellowship at Guadalupe Centers This photo with Gina, a mentor and friend I met during my YLAI / Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Fellowship at Guadalupe Centers, represents a turning point in my professional development. Not just because of the inspiring people I met (like Jesús, Marcos, Raúl, and the entire team!), but because of the valuable lessons I learned. * The Power of Mentorship: Gina's guidance was instrumental in helping me navigate the nonprofit landscape, understand the importance of community-driven initiatives, and discover my own leadership potential. A good mentor can be a game-changer in your career! * Empowering Teams for Success: The collaborative and supportive environment at Guadalupe Centers highlighted the importance of valuing every team member's contributions. When people feel empowered and recognized, innovation thrives. * Passion Fuels Purpose: Witnessing firsthand the impact Guadalupe Centers has on the community ignited my passion for using my skills for good. The experience reinforced the idea that work should be fulfilling and purpose-driven. What are some of the most valuable lessons you've learned from your mentors or workplace experiences? #mentorship #nonprofit #community #growth #digitalcreator #leadership #guadalupecenters #ylainetwork
