In July, HPH employees showed their commitment to making a difference in the community by taking part in a community workday held by Malama Maunalua, where they removed invasive algae from Paiko Beach. Employees representing all HPH Oahu facilities across various departments participated, including several members of the leadership team. “It was a great day to clean up Maunalua Bay! I never thought pulling stinky, slimy, invasive seaweed would be so satisfying,” said Lorrie Luke, HPH vice president of contracting. “The best part was getting to know more of our HPH team, their families and others in the community.” Healthier happens together when our employees have the opportunity to participate in vital projects like this to care for the land and the community! 💙 #HPHOhana #HealthierHawaii Learn about other ways HPH partners with the community: https://bit.ly/3YPwySv
