As our continuous effort in reducing the prevalence of stunting, Tanoto Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Pakpak Bharat City Government. "Based on the 2021 Indonesia Nutrition Status Survey, the prevalence of stunting in Pakpak Bharat Regency was 40.8%. This is significantly higher compared to the World Health Organization benchmark of 20%, although we have successfully reduced this figure to 30.8% in 2022. The MoU and collaboration agreement that we will sign will further strengthen our commitment to accelerating the reduction of stunting," said Regent Franc Bernhard Tumanggor. Margaretha Ari Widowati, Director of Learning Environment Development Program at Tanoto Foundation, added that this collaboration is a manifestation of Tanoto Foundation's efforts to support the second pillar of the national strategy for accelerating the reduction of stunting, namely the enhancement of Behavior Change Communication (BCC) and community empowerment.
