I have to share this with my 24 year old daughter who left her job in the middle of the night to go the ED where she worked doubled over in abdominal pain and she was told nothing was wrong with her…not given pain medication…no test completed…dismissed. So now she makes a concerted effort to only seek out medical professionals of color.
