Rural Healthcare is at risk! Sixty five Million people live in rural America, and depend on rural healthcare. Access and equity have long been an issue in rural America, and many specialty services are simply not available in these communities, however the basic access to emergency services, behavioral health, and primary care are now at risk. One in five Americans do not have access to medical specialists/specialties within their communities (think Heart, Brain, Cancer, Surgery, etc.), sometimes being required to drive hundreds of miles to access this care. With the closure of more and more rural hospitals access to primary care and general wellness care are disappearing.  I encourage everyone to watch this new documentary. #Ruralhealth, #CriticalAccessHospitals, #EnnobleMD, #PalliativeCare https://lnkd.in/g3W_T5Dh Flatlinefilm.com/share
