Ok 16 fingers and knuckle nails is so accurate I can’t even. Please stop asking real artists (I said what I said) to evaluate and give you tips on how to improve your ai “art”. It’s insulting and shows a blatant and willful disregard for the position VFX industry folks have been put in. Yes I want everyone to be able to make stuff and find joy in it but not at the expense of my or anyone else’s livelihood. The ai hype bros have mixed up a really good koolaid and if you’re swimming in it I will be steering clear—I’ve got way bigger fish to fry than this wannabe skynet fever dream that some folks are desperately trying to make a reality. So to recap, I said what I said. 💖

This may sound really cruel and jerky, and perhaps it is, but I've decided to go ahead and remove connections with anyone whose obsessions are with AI. This does not mean if you think AI has a place/role in creative fields that you are obsessed with it. There are discussions to be had. I'm talking about all the AI bros who post some of the most horrific executions of "art" and go "Bro, look at how game-changing this is, bro. For real, this is going to change everything in filmmaking, bro!" et al. If this is you, please kindly know that it's not because I hate you or anything. It's because I have zero interest in teaming up with someone who is passionate about removing people--the true artists--from the creative pipeline. Your endeavors will never create 1/1000th of the beauty that humans create. Best of luck with your sixteen fingers and knuckle nails.
