This was one of the questions we explored at our VidCon panel. In a sequence of fun discussions, we concluded (๐ผ ๐กโ๐๐๐) that while we don't want that, it is likely to happen. The word "bot" has a negative connotation, and no one wants to live in the world of bots. But, strictly from a computer science perspective, a bot is "๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ก๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ค๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ ๐กโ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ ๐๐ ". We're already calling more intelligent bots "๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐๐" and this terminology will surely evolve. It's not far-fetched that we'd have our agents watch and interact with all the content we want to stay on top of and all the creators we wish to build relationships with. We would then get sufficient summaries that help us stay knowledgeable without manually watching and interacting with all of it ourselves. I'm not an advocate for such a world. I'm much more in favor of keeping a smaller network of people whom I can build deeper connections with, staying within the realm of what I can physically accomplish. That said, I'm definitely reaching the limits of what I can accomplish with the time I have, and an AI agent that promises to mimic my style of thinking and writing is not something to dismiss. Thanks to Peter Hollens ๐ฃ, Tabitha Kane, and Brent Musgrove for the fun discussion. Thanks to Brent's team for kindly recording and patiently air-dropping the video to me over a pathetically slow network :) Video clipped and edited on Rizzle. #vidcon2024 #artificialintelligence #AIAgents

1dImagine a future where your most passionate, everyday and even casual fans are all bots - and they become extremely emotional if you ignore them.
