ILTAcon Day 3: I clocked 13,485 steps yesterday, 🐾which is concrete evidence that I wandered around a bit less aimlessly than Day 1. 😂 Heading into Day 3, I’ve had many interesting conversations about the future of AI 🤖and the practice of law and look forward to many more today. As far as I’m concerned the ideas that come from connecting with other legaltech enthusiasts are one of the best parts of this conference. Lots of themes are emerging, and I can’t wait to put pen to paper and share my thoughts and the latest news out of ILTAcon for my ABA Journal and Above the Law articles about the conference so stay tuned!📰 In the meantime, looking forward to many more connections today and keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 that I encounter some good wine tonight, something that’s been a scarcity at this conference! 🍷 I welcome any and all recommendations re: good wine options in Nashville or at the Gaylord, along with your top legaltech takeaways from the conference so far. Great first day at #ILTACON2024. Top 3 highlights: 1) The Promises and Potential Perils of Artificial Intelligence: Navigating the AI Jungle." Favorite Quote (from Julie): "GenAI will not replace attorneys, but it will replace attorneys who don’t know how to use it!" 2) Lunches and meetings with prospects and clients. I learned a lot listening to them describe painpoints around litigation workflows, case management, transcript management, and multi-party collaboration. 3) Sinking a hole-in-one on my first and only shot at our booth's mini-golf station. Which came right after Greg Blackman's swing. No comment on that outcome. ;)

As ever, it was great to be part of the signature session of the Technology Committee (in collaboration with the other IP Section Committees), A Taste of Hot Topics - Round Tables.
