On May 29, the University of California, Davis hosted an exciting groundbreaking ceremony for the Lynda and Stewart Resnick Center for Agricultural Innovation. Design-builder Hensel Phelps celebrated alongside the project team, including our design partners from Yazdani Studio of CannonDesign. This cutting-edge building will include wet and dry laboratories, maker spaces, meeting and collaboration rooms and a student success hub. When complete, the new facility will help support the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences’ commitment to advancing agricultural practices and environmental sustainability. Hensel Phelps hosted 22 middle and high school students at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Surgery, Radiology and Laboratory Medicine (SRLM) Building project this past week. These students are currently participating in the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Camp program.
