1996, I joined #Excelcomindo and built the distribution channel "GSMXL langsung kriiing" for GSM card activation in 2 hours (Maya Rizano). Something super considering 2 competitors did it in as little as two weeks. The experience of distribution in the cigarette industry became an inspiration for carrying out distribution up to the hawker level. Next I had the rare opportunity to design and develop prepaid cards for the next 16 months (Didik Sunardi). Prepaid refill cards were still new, manufacturing errors also occured so that one refill can be used 2 times with different operators. We also introduced the word prepaid into the Indonesian vocabulary. "Prabayar" is nice to hear even if it's literally wrong. But this is about business, not language, so we just kept going (ventura elisawati). Since then, "#prabayar" becomes the daily word for the Indonesian prepaid service. #proXL was phenomenal, launched in 1998 right when Indonesia was experiencing reform. A brave decision for launching new brand during this turbulence time (Y.W. Junardy). Later in 1999, we introduced #eReload ("e" was inspired by #Windows). Furthermore, ProXL's growth was unstoppable, the company began to differentiate various cellular services (@rudiantara, @kusnadi sukarja). Now, PT XL Axiata Tbk is Indonesia's prominent household brand. Thank you to all friends that made this journey possible!!! (Dian Siswarini Elvina Sidabutar M. [MAPA: Indonesia's largest sports retailer, one step closer to becoming a leader in ASEAN] Hello everyone, I'm currently on a very long and honestly boring college holiday, so I decided to make an analysis of one of my favorite issuers, its MAPA or Map Aktif Adiperkasa! I am very interested in this issuer and started collecting it since 2021 because at that time I found out that MAPA managed to sustain in 2020 and even made a profit when issuers in similar industries experienced significant losses, besides that the expansion steps abroad in the midst of the pandemic also impressed me and convinced me to collect the shares that I still own until now In 2022, MAPA was recorded to control 48% of the sports product market share in Indonesia, far above its closest competitor which only had a market share of 5.8%. Currently, MAPA is aggressively expanding its outlets in ASEAN and now has hundreds of outlets abroad.
