New: Zelt, an HR tech startup founded by a former VC at Global Founders Capital, has raised $3.5 million in seed funding. Set up by Chris Priebe in 2021, the company wants to create an all-in-one platform for people operations comprising HR, IT, and finance functions like payroll. The HR tech industry has traditionally been underinvested in, according to Priebe, while the complexity of business functions has only increased with the rise of remote work and global hiring. Funding was co-led by Episode 1 Ventures and Village Global.
