No one likes drinking alone. And the busier your taproom, the more each guest will spend. We analyzed thousands of taproom visits to see how the perceived level of busyness correlates to how much guests spend. Guests spent 38% more in packed taprooms compared to empty taprooms from 2017 to 2022. At one point, it was simply about the beer. Then the word 'experience' crept in. 'Experience' refers to every little aspect that contributes to a guest having a more memorable time. Their experience could be enhanced by something as basic as the music playing or something as extravagant as a decked-out anniversary celebration. See how by consistently facilitating and delivering these wow moments, you can see a busier taproom with higher tabs and more smiles.

I'm aware of 3rd party resellers for sports and music events, but this is the first I've heard about 3rd party platforms reselling restaurant reservations. Interesting article. Does radio in general need to do the same thing? Take a fresh look, is there an updated business model? If you're in radio ask yourself a question and answer honestly, when is the last time you listened to radio for pleasure? Not to check on the competition, not to make sure your station is on and sounds good, but just to listen to the radio? We like to tout that 92% of the public still listens to Terrestrial radio at least once per week. Big damn deal, once per week, for how long? If WE in the industry don't listen like we used to because we get our music on Spotify, or some other streaming service, or we like more specialty programming on Sirius/XM how do we expect the public to listen? What are we doing that is new, fresh, exciting? I don't have the answers I just know that combined with low wages in the industry catching up to us (as predicted 20 years ago) with less and less talent, and most people getting music from other places to fit their musical wants what are we as an industry offering?
