Can America's steel construction industry quickly replace the Francis Scott Key Bridge? High Steel's Ronnie Medlock PE was interviewed for an AISC article, explaining how this vital project can be completed quickly and economically with American steel. https://lnkd.in/eUKbCuXK
Thank you Ronnie for your insight. The tragedy of the collapse still resonates. Rebuilding this vital bridge stronger and more resilient will be a great thing to see.
Amazing article and happy to know that American steel would be used. Greatly explained with the touches of every steps that will be involved. Great job Sir Ronnie Medlock! Would be exciting to also see the live updates once the drawings would be ready and how steel will be going in the Air. Documenting this is definitely going to be historic in the history of the nation.
If it can, you'd better believe that steel is rolling out of Lancaster PA 👍
Practical Engineering Solutions (PES) would love to provide engineering support!
Great thoughts Ronnie . I hope that they can be implemented soon.
Very well explained, Ronnie!
Nice job, Ronnie. I'm hopeful that HSSI gets the nod on the fabrication.
Great article

3moWhat would be the overall effect on the structural steel backlog for construction and do we as a nation have the capacities we need going forward especially with projects getting larger.
