#ConnectingGreenHydrogenConference 🍀 This morning, I had the opportunity to attend the Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe Conference. It was an excellent occasion to discuss with various stakeholders how to tackle hydrogen production, distribution, and consumption. In particular, the panel discussion on "Hydrogen Demand in Heavy Industry - Insights from Buyers and Offtakers' Visions" provided valuable insights into the significance of hydrogen in the heavy industry sector to accelerate the decarbonization. #hydrogen #RenewableEnergy #Deloitte

Exciting news on Europe's hydrogen revolution! 🌍💡 Since 2007, over EUR 3 billion has fueled nearly 800 hydrogen projects through EU Research & Innovation funding. Dive into the key numbers: EU R&I supported 776 projects, investing EUR 2.9 billion and aiding 2600+ participants. A $1.08bn Dutch hydrogen production scheme has been provided with state aid approval, after the European Commission recently agreed to it. The expectation of this facility, is that it will support the construction of an estimated 200MW of electrolysis capacity. Strohm recently received a large investment from SENCO Hydrogen Capital of 20m euros. This investment has been awarded to the company, in order to benefit the advancements being made by the company within hydrogen and carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS) applications. To conclude small business week, we spoke with Paul Mueller, President and CEO of HNO International, where he shared insights into the company's pioneering work in hydrogen infrastructure, which is crucial for the growth of the hydrogen economy. With a predicted industry growth of over 50% CAGR in the next five years, HNO International focuses on integrating and fielding hydrogen infrastructure to facilitate access to clean, green hydrogen for industrial uses and beyond. Paul emphasized the importance of local production and distribution in driving this sector forward and transitioning long-haul logistics from diesel to hydrogen.
