The scariest place to be is the same place as last year.
It's not easy to get out of that trap.
While there are many factors involved, what is clear is that the status quo may not be working anymore.
In the words of Bateriku CEO, "Change, or DIE!."
Change could be in the form of enhancements - creating new or better processes.
It could also be restrictions - putting limits to or even eliminating existing processes.
Change could also mean both - such as the requirements needed to implement automation.
You could enhance certain features, while at the same time limiting some flexibility previously enjoyed, in order to create standardization and rigidity/repeatability.
Some problems may need to be solved with "hard" change, and others with "soft" change.
Be forewarned, when done properly, the changes will solve existing problems.
But, you shall trod down a diverging path - a new direction.
New problems will emerge, as a result.
This is where fine tuning will happen, and must be constantly monitored and further tweaked.
Failing which, will cause you to end up right where you started - the same place as last year.

So, let's heed the call to venture into uncharted territories, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. One of the most beautiful moments in Cincinnati men's final match was Carlos taking a moment during his speech to show love & appreciation to his big brother. A few key takeaways from that match I can relate to my day to day job.
1: Your job is not done until its done (Carlos own the 1st set and was leading 4-2 in the 2nd set, yet he didn't win the match)
2: Its okay to show emotions(or cry). In the end, we all are humans and emotions are part and parcel of our day to day work life (and of course personal life too)
3: Don't shout at your team just because you didn't get the result you wanted
4: Don't forget the team who helped you through out your journey (Carlos hasn't forgotten who helped him get there & he's making sure the world knows it as well)
5: Always smile (win or no-win). Its cost you $0
