How generous are people in your area? How many donated last year? How generous are people in your area compared to local incomes? Now in its 20th year, UK Giving has for the first time taken more than 13,000 responses collected from the public during 2023 and used a statistical model to project its results to all 650 UK parliamentary constituencies, revealing the country’s donor hubs for the first time. Our interactive map lets you explore these results, showing you how many people in your area donated in 2023, how much your local area donated as a whole, and how generous people in your area are – compared to local incomes. https://lnkd.in/eWZfeUfy

Organisations like ours (Aspire NI) rely on the kindness & generosity of individuals and businesses to help fund and continue our work. But opportunities like this, where community funding is available, helps inject some much needed funds to grow the work we do. As it stands, we work in 29 schools across Northern Ireland, with over 350 young people each week. Our next goal is to work with over 1000 young people every week. To do this, we need to hire more in-school session facilitators. To do that, we need more cash available. Funds like this help us move closer to that goal. Would you consider nominating Aspire for the AIB Community fund? It takes 2 mins to complete the nomination.
We would love if you take 2-3 mins to nominate us for the AIB community fund. Nominations close 12th of June so we are into the last couple of weeks of nominations. Simply copy the following link into your browser - https://lnkd.in/eNNsfi2W and Use our name and Charity number referenced in the graphic on this post. Chief Development Officer | United Rehabilitation Services | Transforming Donor Generosity into Sustainable Support
#volunteering is more than just giving time; it's a powerful catalyst for positive transformation. At Youth Haven, we've witnessed firsthand how volunteers create a chain reaction of goodness that resonates far beyond their immediate actions. Take the heartwarming example of St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, North Dakota, whose recent visit to our campus as part of their 2023 Mission Trip left an indelible mark. While organizing back-to-school supplies for Youth Haven, they exemplified the essence of volunteering - selflessly dedicating their time to enhance the lives of others. This act of kindness, fueled by a shared commitment to the #community, not only ensures that kids are well-equipped for school but also ignites a spark of hope and inspiration within them. Volunteers are the backbone of change, bridging gaps, and fostering unity. Their collective efforts are like ripples in a pond, spreading positivity throughout society. So let's celebrate the volunteers, like those from St. John Lutheran Church, who are lighting up the path towards a brighter future. Their actions remind us that small acts of kindness can spark profound shifts, creating a world where compassion and impact go hand in hand. Join us in honoring the volunteers who are #creatingchange and inspiring us all to be a part of something bigger. #VolunteerImpact #CommunityEngagement #Inspiration

Congratulations Team Space2BHeard CIC What can you learn for your business from this amazing bunch? This past weekend I had the pleasure of being the support driver as my wife and her work colleagues took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for a cause very personal to one of the group. Not the ideal weekend to pick as it was very hot and incredibly humid, but they all managed to complete the challenge. So what can we learn? 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 - All of them had to dig deep at various points and find it within to push through those hard moments knowing it would get better. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 - There were so many stories afterwards of helping each other at various points. It is very difficult to achieve anything of significance entirely on your own. 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - They weren't entirely focused on finishing but as the photos show, they made sure they took time to enjoy the journey too. 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 - Saving the most important until last. With out doubt the biggest motivating factor for completing was the reason for the walk. A higher purpose for a business acts in the same way for it's people. A huge, massive thank you to everyone that donated money towards our epic Yorkshire 3 Peaks trek yesterday! We are proud to tell you we ALL finished 👏 There was lots of emotions, sweat and digging deep but we all loved it! There is still time to donate to this awesome cause 🙏 In memory of Abbie ❤️ https://lnkd.in/eygwmKQu

Co-founder&Director at Path Youth Organization||Seasoned Program Manager||Youth Development Practitioner||Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist||Educationist
Over years since co-founding Path Youth Organisation, I have learnt alot that about leadership, especially as a young person leading fellow young people. As a young person leading a team of young people, I've learnt it's important to understand that leadership is not about age, but rather about the ability to inspire and motivate others. Being a young leader can be challenging, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. One of the most important things that I've always kept in mind when leading this team of young people is to lead by example. This means being a role model for your team, setting a positive tone, and demonstrating the behaviors and values that you expect from your team members. Another key aspect of leading a team of young people that I've gained is to be a good listener. Young people have unique perspectives and ideas, and it's important to create an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions. By listening to my team members, I gain valuable insights and ideas that can help you make better decisions and achieve your goals. Finally, it's important to be flexible and adaptable as a young leader. Young people are often full of energy and creativity, and they may have different ways of approaching problems or tasks. By being open to new ideas and approaches, I create a more dynamic and innovative team that is better equipped to tackle challenges and achieve success. I am happy to and glad to be leading Path Youth Organisation.
Appreciation to everyone at Path Youth Organization. The members of Path Youth Organisation are an inspiration to many people with their hard work and dedication to the community. They have accomplished so much over the years, from organizing community events to working with children and youth. Their work has made a real difference in the lives of so many people. We would like to encourage everyone to support Path Youth Organization in any way they can. Whether you volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word about the great work they do, every little bit helps. Thank you again to everyone at Path Youth Organization for all that you do. You are making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time! #transforminglives #education #sdg4
