The fission dream or the next great hope ( A reference to Good and Evil) is that a country and its people are duped into wasting their national purse on an interim redundant energy system like fission. An energy that has limited fuel as the UN has identified at present use, only 250 years left and if any increase like triple fission fuel use, then 70 to 80 years before it is redundant and still the fission gift of giving toxic waste and waste storage costs. instead of developing a total fail-safe energy system using renewables with a grid-attached hydrogen energy generation and batteries, and adopting a fusion energy system. Not adopting renewables with a grid-attached hydrogen energy generation and batteries, and adopting a fusion energy system could seem a crime and beyond belief, and put the country behind the rest as well as being lumbered with expensive power and the high likelihood of not being able to get fuel as well as suffering for hundreds of years maintaining a waste disposal site costing billions to maintain. Which nuclear is for your country fission or fusion?

The BWRX-300 #smr is primarily promoted throughout all media, although GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is currently developing four new reactor designs to realize this vision: the HI-ABWR large light-water reactor, the BWRX-300 highly economical small modular light-water reactor, the RBWR light-water-cooled fast reactor, and the PRISM, which is an innovative, small modular sodium-cooled fast reactor. 📹This video shows the HI-ABWR innovative, large light-water #reactor which incorporates new safety mechanisms based on the standard international ABWR design, reflecting countermeasures for what occurred during the Fukushima nuclear accident as well as the requirements of UK and European regulations. 📄You can learn more about activities in Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy for Development of Advanced Reactors here: https://lnkd.in/e92kMUAj #nuclearenergy #nuclearsafety #nuclearindustry #bwr

Germany has been referenced many times as a cautionary tale of magical thinking in energy policy, with feel-good pronouncements that lack practical substance. The article below details the direct results of this wishful thinking - high electricity/energy prices as the leading factor in de-industrialization and economic woes. Neighboring countries, which noticed the trend of Germany relieving itself of reliable baseload sources of power while also compromising its energy security with large volumes of Russian NG, have decided to build up their nuclear capacity (Czechia, Poland, Hungary, France, Slovakia, Netherlands, Sweden) and are capturing Germany's leaking industrial base. The solution remains based in energy fundamentals of long-term cost-effective, reliable, secure, and sustainable energy. Germany closing its nuclear power plants has been a costly mistake and is an important lesson to be absorbed by energy planners. https://lnkd.in/eBtNmpzW

It will be interesting as with Germany you single one need for one country, and it is not the solution, it shows how blind the fission industry is. There is a fission fuel shortage coming and becoming real as the fission industry trebles the industry and it does not want the advances of renewables, hydrogen grid variable generation and batteries as a system solution of energy generation for the whole of the world it only wants to help 39 countries out of 189 just the rich nor cares about the waste that is dangerous for 1000 of years, what a waste of time you are here. Fission is an interim unlike fusion and renewables, with the help of the grid-attached variable hydrogen generators and batteries, Fusion is the new future energy is helping push new technologies, and new businesses and create new and more jobs worldwide if Germany does not move and adopt renewables, hydrogen grid variable generation and batteries plus fusion as a total energy system for its future advancement and growth it will languish in the dark in 80 years. Which Nuclear fission or fusion? https://lnkd.in/g36Z4k6P
Their energy policy against nuclear power plants has contributed to this bad economic situation. #nuclear #nuclearpower #energy

The true value of long-term planning lies within the ability to remain relevant and strategic understanding that change is inevitable and manageable, something so simple is becoming a huge challenge when talking about the #EnergyTransition. The only way to become #CarbonNeutral pass through a diverse, balanced and inclusive #ElectricicityMix… Every #SourceOfEnergy is having its own pros and cons, so it´s not a question of making one prevail over the rest, we just need to work to develop customized solutions for each individual case based on existing #ElectricityMix, #Electrification, #Distribution, Forecast for the #ElectricityCompsumption…
