Few months back, it started w a personal experience which I had to help a friend discard her unused meds… found ppl who r on the meds and willing to take them. This idea then spinned off to a collaboration across 3 public healthcare clusters and we pitched for it at the CHI Innovate 2024. We bagged the top 3 finalists award with a small grant sponsorship. It was a roller coaster ride with ad hoc prep workshops, getting buy-in from different stakeholders to strategizing the scale up plans.. but all was worthwhile. Ppl recognized the value of this meds rescue project and most imptly, we made new friends, new connections we needed… we learnt and we had fun!! 💪🏻 Onward to next phase of pharmaceutical sustainability. 😊

Is there a venue now for people with extra medications they do not need to donate it to needy patients?
