Greetings, all! I wanted to let you all know that I am now officially taking patients (ages 11+)** at Red Cedar Counseling for gender affirming hormone therapy (including puberty blockers), mental health medication management (including ADHD, anxiety, depression, c/PTSD, bipolar disorder, etc.), PrEP/doxyPEP, and sexual/reproductive health care including menstrual suppression, contraception, erectile dysfunction, and more. My approach is trans/queer affirming, trauma informed, sex- (and sex-worker!) positive, body/size affirming (HAES), kink affirming, patient-centered, and built on harm reduction. My passion is to serve the LGBTQIA2S* and other sexual minority communities, inclusive of all their sexual and gender diversities, and this is what I have built my practice upon. I can provide care and am able to provide puberty blockers (GnRH agonists) for appropriately aged (Tanner II) gender diverse children and adolescents where appropriate. I also offer PrEP, PEP, doxyPEP, contraception, ED medications, and other services to support & uplift sexual health. I look forward to working with all to help them achieve their optimum mental health & gender embodiment goals. You do not need to be seeing a therapist at Red Cedar to see me. I have in person appointments in Okemos (near Lansing), Michigan, and telehealth available to anyone in the state of Michigan (including those from IN or OH who can drive over the Michigan border for a telehealth session)! We accept all of the Medicaids and Medicare as well as most commercial insurers (BCN, BCBS, McLaren, Cigna, Priority, Aetna, UHC, Cigna, PHP/SPHN, Tricare, ....).
