The Impact of Timely Advice: A Reflection I recently viewed a compelling video advertisement https://lnkd.in/dj5_hmgM highlighting the profound impact of well-timed advice on our personal and professional trajectories. It's a powerful reminder that the right guidance can be truly transformative in a world of information. It can light up a new path, unearth hidden potential, and spur us to scale greater heights. Looking back on my journey, I can pinpoint key moments when advice from mentors, colleagues, and even unexpected sources was pivotal in leading to significant breakthroughs. I invite you to join the conversation: Share your experiences with advice that has shaped your career. Have you mentored someone and witnessed the positive outcomes of your guidance? How can we foster a culture of meaningful mentorship within our professional networks? Let's come together to celebrate the power of shared wisdom. It has the remarkable ability to create a ripple effect of growth and success. #Leadership #Mentorship

It's always about the people. Whenever someone accepts an award or they speak about their experience in a competition (think Masterchef, Dancing with the Stars, The Oscars) it is always the people they speak about. And, how that is the best part of the whole thing. Why? I know what I think. What do you think? (share in the comments) #reward #connection #experience #people

Many times, as assistants we tend to focus heavily on providing good "service" while neglecting the impact of "hospitality." Lots of people tend to think that these are one in the same, when in fact they are 2 very different acts. You see SERVICE is what you do to someone and HOSPITALITY is how you make someone feel. As assistants we often burn out because we get so hyper focused on checking tasks off a list and forgetting about the human interaction. By putting hospitality at the core, you transform your interactions and how you execute those tasks into meaningful relationships. There is joy in crafting experiences where people feel SEEN, SAFE, and IMPORTANT. As assistants it is OUR job to represent our leaders within the organization each and every day with how we treat others in these 3 areas. Make hospitality your secret weapon! What are your thoughts on embodying hospitality as an assistant? Here is a video which nails the difference between the two:

Jo Koy's hosting of the Golden Globe Awards was a masterclass in humility. Throughout the evening, he made the conscious effort to center the spotlight on the nominees and winners, rather than drawing attention to himself. His jokes were lighthearted and self-deprecating, avoiding any hint of arrogance or self-importance. This approach not only showcased his wit and humor but also emphasized the importance of humility in a role that could easily be dominated by an overpowering presence. In a world where success often leads to ego inflation, Jo Koy's hosting offered a refreshing reminder of the power of humility. He shared personal stories and experiences in an authentic and relatable manner, allowing the audience to connect with him on a human level. This genuine approach helped to create an atmosphere of inclusivity and mutual respect, which is essential for any successful host. Furthermore, Jo Koy demonstrated the value of humility in celebrating the achievements of others. He showed genuine excitement and admiration for the nominees and winners, making it clear that he was there to uplift and support their accomplishments. By stepping back and allowing the spotlight to shine on others, he not only elevated the evening's honorees but also set an example for the audience to follow. In a cultural landscape that often celebrates boastfulness and self-promotion, Jo Koy's hosting at the Golden Globe Awards served as a powerful reminder that humility can be a defining strength. His ability to entertain and engage without overshadowing the main event demonstrated the profound impact of humility in a high-profile hosting role. Ultimately, Jo Koy's performance as host reflected the timeless lesson that humility is not a sign of weakness, but rather a mark of true strength and character. It showed that by embracing humility, we invite others to shine, creating a more meaningful and impactful experience for everyone involved. #humility #passiton #standup #host #comedian #artist #foryou #standout #challengesandopportunities #evolve #innovate #inclusivity #asian #entertainment #philippines #american #globalcommunity #hollywood #filipinoamerican #equality #respect #connectivity #courage
