Dennis Liao, our Sponsor Creative Lead, has been hard at work developing some creative ad integrations for Linus Media Group's sponsors over the past year.   After several tests, we saw a significant increase in engagement, watch time, and retention. Additionally, we've seen increased interest in our sponsors' products.   Recently, Dennis produced a sponsor spot for The Ridge which demonstrates this.   Typically, some viewers are tempted to skip sponsor reads, which results in a dip in retention. However, the retention for this ad spot instead increased by 5%.   Not only that, the community response blew us away. The top comment and many others praise the sponsor spot, while Reddit threads shared the same sentiment.   As a result, our viewers, our team, and The Ridge were very happy with the results. Ads shouldn't interrupt; they should fit in and entertain, just like our regular content. Here are 8 common mistakes I often encounter when auditing meta-ad accounts: 1. Failure to utilize dynamic ads 2. Insufficient ad creative testing 3. Lack of consolidated campaigns 4. Continued reliance on lookalike audiences 5. Excessive ad sets within a single campaign 6. Ad creatives formatted for only one size (1x1) 7. Failure to exit the learning stage due to budget spread thinly across multiple campaigns and ad sets 8. Infrequent introduction of new ad creatives (for example, the last new creative was uploaded a 1 month ago) If you're doing any of the practices mentioned above, please stop 🙃 your ad account will thank you later!

I built this ad for my client. Okay, pretty bad... I know right? But what's bad about trying new things?? I've created some other ad campaigns, they were more professional. But not this time, Here I want to touch the audience even better level. But you might think how is it possible with such creative? Did you notice? ↳ The page, everybody sees and uses. ↳ The text is human-like - not computer-like. ↳ A message that makes them feel proud. ↳ Clearly mentioned whom it is for. ↳ And last but not least, a CTA. If you don't dare to try new things, It'll be hard to win the attention war.
