❗️❗️❗️RUSSIAN WHEAT INVADES ITALY Imports increased by 1,164%…!!! „Imports of the raw material used for pasta grew by 1,164%. Farmers on the Peninsula worried about competition, while Italian money ends up in Moscow's coffers. Italy was invaded by a wave of Russian durum wheat in 2023. Imports of the raw material used for pasta increased by 1,164%. This is what emerges from an analysis by the Divulga Study Center contained in the paper «Seas in storm», relating to the impact of the current wars on the agri-food system. The increase was so high that, since July last year, it had even surpassed Canada, the main foreign supplier of the pasta producers of the Peninsula. According to Corriere della Sera, Italy is the only member country of the European Union to have recorded such an increase, while Belgium, Greece and Spain, also large consumers of durum wheat, were totally unrelated to this phenomenon…”
