On Sunday, the 35th annual conference of the Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) opened in Addis Ababa. Our Ethiopia Country Director, Dr Agonafer Tekalegne, provided the welcome address as the newly elected president of the EPHA. The theme of the conference was universal health coverage, with around 1000 attendees over the two-day event. Three plenary sessions took place on timely themes around public health: 🔵New dimensions of revitalising primary healthcare in Ethiopia 🔵Best models for the integration of One Health into universal health coverage 🔵Current trends and future dimensions of health workforce training, protection and motivation in Ethiopia. #GlobalHealth #Ethiopia
