So, let's talk about Mike Martin's Delaney Signature "Archangel" model. Mike is also endorsed by DiMarzio and we opted to use their pickups and switch in his model for obvious reasons. One thing that is really unique about the electronics is the DiMarzio multi-pole switch. It's a 5 position switch but offers many configurations depending on the pickup package. Mike chose to have 2 humbuckers, a DiMarzio Liquifire in the neck and a DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge position, and a DiMarzio Blaze single coil in the middle position. The pickups are wired so that in the #1 position it's the neck, in #2 position it's neck split and middle. In the #3 position it's the neck and bridge, the #4 position is bridge split and middle, and the #5 position is Bridge. Wow, what a great variety of tonal possibilities he has here! He kept the electronics package simple by having only one volume and one tone control. This system’s audio feed is going to be lousy, and it has nothing to do with the mic or the cameras. This is from a QSR near the cash register. The mic is going to hear mostly a whooshing noise thanks to the AC vent right next to it. It will also hear buzzing or humming depending on how much of the ducting vibration it picks up.
