I very much enjoyed attending this year's edition of Point Zero Forum in Zurich and participating in the panel discussion “Unlocking Growth: The Rise of Private Markets and Retail Access" alongside Dushyant (D) Shahrawat of Rosenblatt Securities, Michael L. Mostert of Blackstone and Philippe Laurensy of Euroclear. During this session, expertly moderated by Carolin Roth we discussed that most of today’s value creation is increasingly taking place outside public markets before companies go public and, therefore, beyond the reach of most private investors. The ultimate goal of Fintech is to responsibly broaden access to financial products and we at iCapital are ensuring that individual investors, through their advisors and supported by our technology, have facilitated access to private markets investment opportunities, making the asset class a key component of a diversified portfolio contributing to enhanced performance and increased diversification.
