Childcare Benefits as a retention tool !! WFH and flexible working arrangements sure allowed employees more flexibility to handle carer responsibilities, a big one being childcare. Recently I have had applicants reject job opportunities that did not offer flexible arrangements so they could care for their children. So for companies that don't offer workplace flexibility, offering childcare subsidy might be an option worth considering. However, one needs to keep in mind any such benefit would be subject to FBT, unless it was housed on company premises.
