However, I feel that to gain deeper insights into the prevalence and effectiveness of remote work in construction, 1. It's crucial to assess the monetary value of projects managed by the 54% of construction project managers working remotely. 2. It's crucial to understand the specific tools, technologies, and collaborative techniques utilized by remote managers to effectively address daily site challenges. 3. Furthermore, determining the extent to which they empower or delegate tasks to on-site personnel would provide valuable insights into their remote management strategies. What's your opinion?

A lot of times, I thougth that it is not necessary to create a chapther of Stakeholders management for the good management of a project, but my current experience in Africa, it´s a learned lesson about this topic. For instance when a professional says the construction will start on September when you arrive here, you must have an account, what is the enviroment work of the project, how manage the times and work on-site, if someone to say an specific time, the people is on-time or it´s a reference time for starting one or two hours after that. What kind of words the people usually use on work (so many people cannot understand anything, but they don´t looks like a fool, don´t say anything). For this, it´s necessary to find out what is the enviroment where we are going to work for having a good relationship with our colleagues and stakeholders and in this way to avoid misunderstood that could generate delaying in the project.

These tasks are typically crucial for setting up the project for success. Here's a breakdown of the mentioned tasks: 1- Prepare a preliminary budget and schedule: The PM should create an initial budget and timeline for the project. This involves estimating the costs and determining a timeline for completing various project tasks. 2- Help select people to serve on the project team: The PM is often responsible for assembling a project team. This includes identifying the skills and expertise required for the project and selecting individuals with the right qualifications. 3- Get to know the client (either internal or external): Building a strong relationship with the client is essential. IBO Management visit March 2024 Recently, my project organised management visit participated from both project team and HUC contractor. The visit intention to meet the frontliner from 2 HUC workbarge at offshore Terengganu. From the tour visit, a lot of feedback either improvement feedback & positive feedback from the team. Apart from that, we’re also felt the positive vibes from the team at offshore. Among those positive vibes from the workers are; 1. He felt togetherness while working with his team for the projects, which each of his teammates really helping him as a team. 2. He be guided by the senior or experience leaders at offshore, especially to teach & guide him to do better in performing the task. 3. He as a firewatcher, but he seek advice & guidance, what the roles he can be in the future. In his opinion as a person, he need to improve himself & need to upgrade position in the offshore work. Eventhough, we read news a lot of our young generation start to focus on the GIG economy, yet I believe a lot of our generation still do have interested and love to join technical industry especially in Oil & Gas industry.
