Adept Fuyu-Heavy: Revolutionizing Digital Agents with Multimodal Mastery Adept Fuyu-Heavy is a new multimodal model designed for digital agents. It’s the world’s third-most-capable multimodal model, excelling at multimodal reasoning and UI understanding. Despite having to devote some of its capacity to image modeling, it matches or exceeds the performance of models in the same compute class on standard text-based benchmarks. The model demonstrates that the Fuyu architecture can be scaled up, handling arbitrary size/shape images and efficiently re-using existing transformer optimizations. The training process leverages the UltraFeedback dataset, highlighting key steps and considerations. The 4 core business model always reminds me of cooking. 1. Data collection - Grocery shopping 2. Data curation - Cooking prep 3. Data annotation - Cooking 4. Data evaluation - Tasting. --> The chef could also have his internal or external tasting to get feedback. If the results are less satisfactory, the chef would need to fix the food or even use some tricks such as adding desserts or other snacks to make it more delightful.
