Are you forcing patients to waste their time? One thing we don't understand is why so many private clinics force patients to use lengthy contact forms when trying to book an appointment. Comments we've heard recently from REAL USERS of private healthcare: 💬 "It's a great clinic, but the only way to book is by those silly contact forms." 💬 "I like going there, but it takes ages to fill in the form to get an appointment." 💬 "I wanted an urgent appointment and had to spend ages, while in pain, filling in their contact form to request to be seen! It was 4 hours before my appointment was confirmed! These are patients who only use private healthcare and, after trying several clinics for different services, are having the same problem over and over again. Why take up so much of their time? Contact forms seem to be the only way for private clinics to stay in control, right? 🤔 You have the ability to accept or deny the patient depending on what they're requesting? Well, little did you know it's 2023, and there are SO MANY BETTER ways of staying in control of your patient flow without forcing patients to fill in time-consuming contact forms! 👀 #privatehealthcare #contactforms #patientflow

On average, around 19% of patients miss their medical appointments. This equates to nearly one in five scheduled patients failing to attend their visits. No-shows can also account for up to 30% of all scheduled appointments. One of the most notable (and immediate) impacts of patient no-shows is the financial burden on healthcare facilities. These missed appointments lead to: ✅ Wasted resources (including staff time, utilities, and medical supplies). ✅ Increased wait times. ✅ Disrupted Patient Care. Learn how can Healthcare Centers lower this and improve their effective appointment rate in our complete guide to patients' no-shows: https://lnkd.in/g-DCAUax #PatientExperience #PatientNoShows #HealthcareScheduling

Americans are facing extraordinary medical bills due to a lack of transparency in healthcare pricing. Call your Congressmen and demand they stand up for your right to know prices by passing healthcare price transparency legislation Have you as a prudent healthcare consumer attempted to determine an accurate reliable estimate of the costs of a physician ordered service? I recently experienced the headache of determining the estimated costs for ordered lab work. After 30 minutes on the phone and speaking to four hospital employees, I came up with an answer. I consider myself fortunate as I know how to navigate the complex territory of the hospital revenue cycle. How about the layman consumer who are left to the wolves as most hospitals, while publishing their most common service costs," do not make it easy to navigate and interpret. #hosptialcharges, #navigatingcomplexty, #chargemaster, #pricetransparency https://lnkd.in/es_KFfAB

The No-Show Predictor features a daily scorecard where each appointment is scored based on the no-show probability, allowing schedulers to quickly assess which patients are most and least likely to miss their appointments. This resource is essential for same-day scheduling since it points staff members to the appointment slots most likely available for overbooking. As a result, schedulers can confidently plan and strategically overbook patients, helping to minimize operational chaos and maximize patient care. #patientnoshow #healthcaretechnology #hospital

Price transparency in healthcare can be a game-changer for both patients and hospitals. With the ability to compare prices, patients can now make informed decisions on where to receive care. For hospitals, having a cost advantage can increase patient volume and elective procedures, leading to a competitive advantage. This regulation offers an opportunity for hospitals to optimize costs and win in the price transparency marketplace. #healthcaremanagement #healthcarefinance #hospitalmanagement

Patient Experience (PX) has more empatheical weight compared to other fields due to it's nature of sensitivity. And providing timely, relevant information is critical throughout the patient's journey. Scheduled to meet the Dr. at 9am, I was sent 2 reminders: a day before via call and on the day of appointment via sms, to ensure attendance. Arrived at the hospital at sharp 9, registered at the reception and noticed the Dr. was late by 35 mins with no intimation to the patient (either F2F or via the app). Having waited for over 5.5 hours for my turn, (btw this is not free NHS, but rather premium private healthcare), I receive an SMS that said "I've missed my appointment." It's clear that patient experience is more than just a buzzword – it's a fundamental aspect of quality care. Let's prioritize empathy, transparency, and efficiency to ensure every patient feels valued and respected. #PatientExperience #Healthcare #EmpathyMatters #customerexperience
