This explains why even in the underwater domain the presence of feature-poor areas (along with adverse visibility conditions) is one of the main factors complicating the realisation of robust and reliable visual odometry solutions.

This article does a great job of summarising the state of play in the world of Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) today. 🛰️ GPS and Galileo are the backbone but modern technology demands more. Space and terrestrial augmentation systems, as well as inertial stand to offer much needed improvements that I’m excited to see. 📍 Low Earth Orbit PNT will deliver an independent and global layer of resiliency with minimal changes needed to user equipment. It is through this technology that Xona Space Systems PULSAR service will provide the much needed improvements in precision, and protection, and power beyond that of GPS and Galileo, and if used in combination with the technologies mentioned above, will offer a truly exceptional capability.💡 #LEO #PNT #Space
Hint: It includes LEO. https://lnkd.in/gg6aK694

🚀 Some key insights from Payload's interview with Sinead O'Sullivan about the space industry: - The industry is "irrational". Start-ups rely on SpaceX for success, but SpaceX doesn't have their best interests at heart. Investors in the start-ups seem to look past this. - SpaceX can't justify its valuation with investors due to unclear and potentially unsustainable profits, yet people continue to invest in SpaceX - possibly more due to personal ethos. - The space industry needs new funding mechanisms due to the long cycle for revenue generation. PM Narendra Modi’s proposal at the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg for a space exploration consortium is intended to broaden India’s options and propel it into the leadership stakes. In this conversation on StratNews Global, Prof. Chaitanya GIRI, Editor of Interstellar_Go, argues that the proposal opens the door to India-China cooperation in space. There is absolutely none now and the China-Russia International Lunar Research Station is moving slowly with only a handful of partners. The generally positive reactions from China to the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon lends weight to collaboration and cooperation. At the same time, Prof Giri notes that India’s private space sector is starting a slow rise and could benefit from possible funding from the UAE and Saudi Arabia, both of which have space ambitions. As for Artemis, India signed the accord last month and is expected to send an astronaut to the International Space Station next year. It’s a win-win for India, being able to benefit from collaborating with a wide range of space partners.

Business ideas based on the concept of import replacement, Kazakhstani content in personnel, We all belong there, some day we’ll be called back, and get back there 🎹🥁🎻 Here’s a breakdown of the growth prospects of Intuitive Machines (LUNR): Successful Lunar Mission: Intuitive Machines’ recent completion of the IM-1 mission, the first commercial lunar landing by a U.S. company, is a significant achievement. It demonstrates their technical capabilities and positions them well for future lunar missions. Growing Space Industry: The global space industry is projected to experience significant growth in the coming years, driven by factors like space exploration initiatives, satellite deployment, and space tourism. This bodes well for companies like Intuitive Machines. NASA Partnerships: Intuitive Machines has existing partnerships with NASA through the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program. Securing future contracts with NASA could be a major growth driver. Analyst Forecasts: Some analysts predict strong revenue growth for Intuitive Machines in the coming years. However, analyst forecasts are not guarantees of future performance. Competition: The space industry is becoming increasingly competitive, with established players and new entrants vying for market share. Technological Advancements: The space industry is constantly evolving, companies need to keep up with technological advancements to remain competitive. Financial Performance: While some analysts predict revenue growth, Intuitive Machines’ past financial performance hasn’t been consistently profitable. Dependence on Government Contracts: A significant portion of Intuitive Machines’ revenue currently comes from government contracts. Dependence on a single customer can be risky. Intuitive Machines has a promising future with the successful completion of their first lunar mission and the growing space industry. However, they face challenges from competition, technological advancements, financial stability. P.S. @intuitivemachines Make it 8 landing struts with the form of an eight sided star to make the landing more sustainable 100% of the content was generated by Google Gemini
Our official IM-1 mission ended on February 29th, as Odie was not designed to survive the Moon’s harsh temperatures without sunlight. While we wait for the possibility of hearing from Odie once the sun shines on the solar panels prior to the end of the month, watch our mission recap below, which includes a heartfelt farewell from Mission Director Jack Fischer, commemorating the lander's groundbreaking voyage and the wealth of knowledge delivered from the lunar surface. https://lnkd.in/dPKaxGib

Last week's news from the ISS The month of July has been the hottest on record since 1880! Many instruments on the ISS constantly monitor the Earth. One of which, the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-3, aids in the observation of complex dynamics of the Earth’s atmospheric carbon cycle. The station is gearing up for a lot of traffic in the next few days! The Progress 83 cargo from Roscosmos has been undocked from the ISS on Sunday and Progress 85 will launch on 8/22. Subsequently, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration SpaceX Crew-7 mission will launch NET 8/25 from NASA KSC with Jasmin Moghbeli (NASA), Andreas Mogensen (European Space Agency - ESA), Satoshi Furukawa (JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), and Konstantin Borisov (Roscosmos) After a brief overlap onboard the ISS, Crew 6, Steve Bowen, Warren Hoburg, Sultan Al Neyadi, and Andrey Fedyaev will return to Earth in early September! Enjoy. #internationalspacestation #earthobservation #spacebiology #spaceindustry #spaceexploration #astronaut https://lnkd.in/gvx38WVn

Thanks. Gravity Propulsion is a little or very far away scientifically and technologically aeronautical example: The inventor eov advanced first in the world to (publish in 2015 USPTO Quantum Levitation) (not use propulsion) scientifically apply super-advanced reverse engineering QG, QM etc..technique that in (2024) is ready to manufacture change the US history. What was before was a fantasy, today scientifically and technologically we made it a reality. We provide the first manned quantum levitation transport that has the ability to travel at supersonic speed or can accelerate instantly in space-air or can disappear from the spectrum, are different sophisticate can controls atmospheric pressure and temperatures to travel in space or in water, control gravity or G' force is a phenomenon that is not associated with any rockets or airplanes tech propulsion used today, propulsion is obsolete. Please any questions, don't hesitate, welcome. Thanks inventor eov.
History could be made and the significance of a successful launch is nothing short of monumental. https://lnkd.in/eqqtKwur
