Here’s how to celebrate #iwd2024 as a marketing agency in three easy steps! Step 1) Make all your women sit on the steps together (even if you only have 3 of them, it’s fine) Step 2) Take photo (black and white if you want it to look ✨serious and dramatic✨) Step 3) Make LinkedIn post “ You go girls! Happy IWD ladies!💜🦄👸🏼” … just kidding, just please don’t make it the ONLY thing you do for international woman’s day … Here is how you could celebrate though: 1) Explore whether you have celebrated diverse voices 2) Ask yourself if there are women on your board of directors? 3) Ask if you offer soloutions to parents (not just for mothers) for flexible work around childcare? Use the day to think deeper, not just to round up the gals and take a quick pic 📸 #iwd #internationalwomensday2024 #agencylife

Challenging a common misconception, our latest research in partnership with Moms First demonstrates that offering childcare benefits to employees actually represents a smart long-term investment with positive returns, rather than a mere cost. This revelation could be a game-changer, especially for numerous women whose progression in the workplace is often hindered by childcare responsibilities. By providing childcare benefits, companies can pave the way for greater gender equity in leadership roles and sidestep the hefty costs of replacing talent. It's a win-win for everyone! #WomenLeaders #Equity https://lnkd.in/eW9rmFk4

In a world where women face numerous challenges, it is crucial for us to stand together and support one another. Here are a few ways we can uplift women who are struggling. First, lend an empathetic ear and create a safe space for them to share their experiences. Second, offer practical help, whether it's assisting with childcare, providing resources, or offering guidance. Third, celebrate their achievements and amplify their voices to ensure they are heard. Remember, by supporting each other, we can empower women to overcome any obstacle. #WomenSupportingWomen #StrengthInSisterhood

The 'supermum' identity, and the expectation to do it all, is a constant struggle for so many women isn’t it? In our working parents research, many of the mums we spoke to felt they had to make a choice between childcare and work. One said, “I didn’t appreciate how challenging it is. I didn’t appreciate how much women give up.” Some mums reached the conclusion that it was impossible to do it all, while also being present for their children; and this was particularly challenging for those just returning from parental leave. Mums we spoke to felt they had to make a choice between childcare and work. This was a repeating theme when discussing balance. Undoubtedly, there is just so much that needs to change. To find out how you can be part of this change, and to drive equal opportunities for working mums and dads, download our whitepaper today by clicking this 🔗: https://lnkd.in/e7gdXNJJ #workingmums #equality #workplaceculture #workingparents #juggling #mumsinbusiness #womeninbusiness #equalopportunities

Motherhood penalty empirical #dataanalytics from Hays shows the negative career impact a decade later to becoming a Mum. Thanks to ConservativeHome for sharing my article on the importance of offering women flexibility during the first 1001 days of life of their child as the Women’s Policy Centre suggests with its policy proposal -The Baby Deal, calling on government to make flexible working a statutory right for mothers, over their child’s first 1001 day.
