Conquered the Alps, Conquered Ourselves! ️ 407 gruelling kilometers and 10 best Cols later, we stand atop the Alpe d'Heuz in the French Alps, exhausted but exhilarated! This wasn't just a bike ride; it was a journey of self-discovery, forged in the fire of challenge and fueled by incredible teamwork. New lifelong friendships were forged in the saddle, each pedal stroke strengthening our bond and reminding us of the power of shared goals. The camaraderie was phenomenal, a testament to the human spirit's ability to connect and overcome. This adventure wasn't just about conquering mountains; it was about daring to dream and proving that age is just a number. Jack Lowe, at 82, Anne L. Friedlander, Fred St. Goar, MD and Tania Cotton all embodied this spirit, inspiring us all to push our limits. The most important lesson? Start today! You don't need to conquer mountains first. I heard few exchange houses have brutally started making people work 70hours ,stopped sick leaves ,etc. You must be still wondering where is positive thinking mindset a part of these rules and regulations,but if ponder more on this we shall agree though what N.Murthy said that young eaters should not indulge and get influence from unwanted things of west but learn to work but that does not mean to slog for 70hours a week. If we have to inject our mind everyday to work positivity at cost of family life,mental peace,enjoying ,entertaining self with our hobbies and passion ,do you think positivity will work in our body,mind brain ….,absolutely no. So all great business scholars commenting positively that people should slog 70hours and positivity in work please I beg to defer your intellect that working in 9to6 jobs only won’t make india a super power but if we find positivity in helping needy,street kids with basic lifestyle needs,work together against corruption,poverty ,help farmers and artisans to treasure the rich culture by making various avenues for them,then the whole body of our country will be healthy with healthy mindset as we will not despair n socio-economic conditions. People will not compete in greed and lust and materialistic affairs but strive happily in building a strong positive mindful healthy nation with intellectual,knowledge and culture. Karoshi "Death by overwork" The new phenomenon of Indian IT sector and Industrial revolution over China, India have came a long way to get lead . But the lack of bit human responsibilty over employees is stuck behind the line. The name Karoshi ( Death by overwork ) is a phenomenon in Japan over past 50 years . The begin of oil crisis in Japan had made peoples work for more than 60 to 70 hours a week for a prolonged period of time. Resulting from peoples having stroke and ischemic heart diseases. The name karoshi had made attention with people's. In 2016 the (World health organization) and (International labour organisation) had published that 745,000 people died in 2016 from stroke and ischemic heart disease as a direct result of having worked at least 55 hours a week.Between 2000 and 2016, the number of deaths from heart disease due to working long hours increased by 42%, and from stroke by 19%. As this was arising, We can easily able to see that change happening in India sector which is employees are working about more than 10 hours a day (i.e speaking in average in every sector). The word toxic work culture, work life balance , stress , quitting, is gets more and more heard from every corner. The most important thing! is spread awareness of long working time is not making anything to you.
