The power of the multiplication effect that exists when like minded individuals come together for a purpose bigger than themselves, is still awe inspiring to me.
When I birthed Community Sustainability Enterprise over 8 years ago, my vision was to change the economic trajectory of low income/high potential families, one layer at a time. We are doing just that through the business relationships I’ve been blessed to forge over my 14 years in Georgia. Our clients are overcoming economic barriers, through education, 1 to 1 coaching, financial literacy, livable wage employment, therapy, physical wellness, and so much more.
I want to brag on a real ride and multiply CSE partner, Attorney Erik Provitt, JD, CFE. Erik is quiet and effective. When he goes in that phone booth and puts his Superman cape on, some bad person is about to get schooled💪🏾👏🏾 Eric took on one of CSE’s single mothers through our United Way grant who was wronged by her landlord after an eviction. Her landlord stole the washer & dryer she was paying for and blocked her from calling him. He also became non responsive with Attorney Provitt. Erik put that cape on, and we put on our advocacy hats, and I wrote to Aaron’s to share Ms. Johnson’s story. Today, I am proud to report our friends at Aaron’s not only forgave Ms. Johnson’s debt, but they are blessing this single mom of 3, who also happens to be a domestic violence survivor, with a brand new washer and dryer🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 Aaron’s is true to their corporate social responsibility mission:
