As entrepreneurs, we have to learn fast. It is part of the job. I started as an engineer, writing code, and as a young CEO I had to quickly educate myself on many other topics. Marketing, sales, fund raising, legal, accounting, team building, M&A and many more. Looking back at the last decade (most of which I spent in my own start-ups) I can now say that there is one thing I have learned that is by FAR more important than all of these combined. This one thing, once you master it, is transformative and has the power to improve your chances to succeed WAY MORE than any other skill in the list above. That one thing is - How to take care of yourself. How to take care of yourself in this crazy emotional rollercoaster ride. How to make sure that you are not burning out (and yes. We all burnout, even if it is our own company). How to extend your emotional runway? I will be at Intel Ignite, sharing my story and lessons-learned (the hard way). You are welcome to join: https://lnkd.in/dHi6MKhs Adi Gal, Boaz Albaranes, Hanan Brand, Alon Leibovich, Yael Daniely

You know, life is simple: we have a vision, we follow it. Our vision is a change that we want to bring to the world: NeuralEcho Labs fights the temptation of hijacking time, attention and self-worth from our users. Instead, we're building tech that empowers humans. Tech that joins the mind so that it makes it more performant, more efficient, more free. We are against the technological trend in that way. But this is our change, our belief, and it comes naturally: this is who we are every day, in our interaction with other human beings and the interactions with ourselves. We remain true to this vision while we expand the team, while we discuss partnerships and while we negotiate investments. This is what empowers us. Is it counter-intuitive while fundraising? It definitely is. Does it make everything harder? Yes it does. But no easy thing comes for free, no shortcut is without repercussions. We know that, in order to make our vision a reality, we have to keep true to its values: time, attention and self-worth. After all, when we start bending our values, we start distorting our vision. And we all want a product that is made with love, not with compromises. It's that simple. Life is simple. #neurogamer #founders #investment #startup #neuralecholabs

Ever had that nagging feeling that something's different about you? Let's get real for a moment. Growing up, I felt out of place. It was like I was on autopilot, programmed differently. I wasn't lazy. I wasn’t indifferent. I was just... different. Here's the twist: it took me years, and a journey into my undergrad, to get to the root of it - a neurodivergent brain. That's right. The way I socialized, the way I created friendships, the behaviors I exhibited – they all pointed to it. To all my peers feeling 'out of place', remember: your differences can be your strength. Have you ever felt this way? #neurodiversity #innovation #scienceandtechnology #careers #startups

Today was the Investment and Demo Day at Techbite 5.0, and I had the privilege of pitching duPhonics on stage for five minutes. However, the day turned out to be far from ordinary when the stage screen went black for two minutes, causing momentary panic in the audience. Although I could have paused and waited, I decided to seize the moment and continue, given that there were 13 startups and I was fourth in line. What could have been a distressing situation for any founder became an opportunity for me to connect with the audience. I utilized that time to tell a story of the business opportunities we offer to the promising future of Generation Alpha. Why did I go off script? It’s my belief that we, as adults, have become complacent with the ideas surrounding declining population growth rates and the rise of an aging society. We, as the caregivers of Generation Alpha, have overlooked the fact that this generation is the most diverse, tech-savvy, and poised to be the future leaders of our uncertain world. My goal was to deliver our story in a way that resonated with investors, translating our vision into dollars and sense. I would like to personally thank Matas Danielevicius for helping me focus on the storytelling aspect of duPhonics and the Techbite team for their tremendous support throughout the accelerator program. I highly recommend early-stage founders from everywhere to become part of this incredible family. #pitching #startup #startuplife #duphonics

Now that I got your attention 🐶: I want to build my next company in public. It's a very powerful way to engage people not just in the process, but in the results too. The plan is to be transparent from day one. I’ll be sharing the initial idea and documenting its development, including team building, challenges, wins, and setbacks. The vision is to build this company with both my team and the community that is interested in the project. My current focus is on Mission Team, but I’m also eager to provide a behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening at theIntelligent VC, including our investments, deals, and the startups we support. If you have questions, ideas, or examples on how to make this journey even better, or if there's something specific you'd like to hear about, please share. Let's build something cool together! #BuildingInPublic #StartupJourney #TransparentGrowth

Alon Leibovich, Managing Director Intel Ignite, entrepreneur, founder, and is also organizational psychologist by training, though he never practiced clinically. This background shaped how he navigated the turmoil when he learned via social media that Facebook was suing his company. "It felt like someone had punched you in the stomach," he recounts. Alon candidly shares grappling with the Imposter Syndrome through that time, doubting himself as both a person and manager, although at the end, a pivotal and very important realization was: "There is more to us than just our business." I'm truly honored to be a part of Goodie Nation's newest initiative, Stay In The Game, led by Joey Womack. This project is a true testament to the fact that every ending can indeed be a new beginning. For many entrepreneurs who have shut down their startups, there are often feelings of guilt and shame associated with perceived failure. But it's essential to remember that each setback can shape us into more insightful, resourceful, and resilient individuals. It's not just about celebrating our successes, but recognizing the beauty in the journey and the wisdom gained from every challenge. With Stay In The Game, we aim to uplift these founders, reminding them that their journeys don’t end here; it's merely a stepping stone to the next opportunity. But, while failure can be an essential part of growth, it's equally crucial to address the emotional and mental toll it can take. That's where my partnership with Goodie Nation steps in–I’m here to provide the mental health support founders need during this transitional phase to ensure they’re ready to dive into the next chapter of their lives. To learn more about Stay In The Game, please visit https://lnkd.in/gmucW2yu. #GoodieNation #StayInTheGame #NewBeginnings
**Please share with founders who have shutdown their startups as well as the companies who might look to hire them** Following the recent Goodie Nation #IntentionallyGood Summit and on #WorldMentalHealthDay, I'm excited to announce our newest project - Stay In The Game - to connect founders who have shut down their startups to jobs in the tech space. Although more than 80% of all startups shut down for a multitude of reasons, many of their founders (especially women and founders of color) experience feelings of shame and guilt. These founders tend to withdraw from both personal and professional circles. In Silicon Valley startup culture, however, failure is celebrated and worn as a badge of honor. Failure indicates that those founders took a risk, learned a bunch of important lessons, and are better positioned to be successful in their next venture. The US innovation economy can’t afford for these talented founders to withdraw. And diverse tech communities certainly can’t withstand the loss. We need to be intentional about helping these founders find the next role in the innovation ecosystem – whether that’s working for a tech company, startup, accelerator, or tech community building organization. On the mental health front, we've listed Chantel Cohen, LCSW, Certified Executive Coach of CWC Coaching and Therapy and we've partnered with Founder Mental Health Pledge Founders and companies with open roles can learn more and sign up at https://lnkd.in/gA3VwbdQ
