Update regarding CrowdStrike-related outage: We can confirm that all Intermedia voice and UCaaS systems are now fully operational. The issue that resulted from the CrowdStrike global outage has been resolved, and our services are back to their normal state. A full Reason for Outage (RFO) will be released following an in-depth assessment of the incident, including CrowdStrike's plans for corrective actions to avoid a recurrence. Summary of the Issue: A CrowdStrike software update affected Microsoft Windows systems globally, including those that support Intermedia's services. This resulted in considerable challenges for our customers and partners, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused. Said CrowdStrike CEO, George Kurtz, “Today was not a security or cyber incident. Our customers remain fully protected. We understand the gravity of the situation and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disruption. We are working with all impacted customers to ensure that systems are back up and they can deliver the services their customers are counting on. As noted earlier, the issue has been identified and a fix has been deployed. There was an issue with a Falcon content update for Windows Hosts.” Technical Details: As noted above, CrowdStrike identified, isolated, and deployed a fix for the issue. As a result, we progressively restored our systems. Our IT, engineering, system administration, and support teams worked tirelessly to bring everything back online and resolve any issues. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to the support team via the standard channels.
