Recently, a well-known poet named Gilaman Wazir was tragically killed in Islamabad, Pakistan's capital. This event highlights the lack of peace in the region. It may be beneficial for the International Cricket Council to consider hosting the Champions Trophy in a different country. India has already chosen not to play in Pakistan due to safety concerns. It would be wise for Afghanistan and other nations to also prioritize their players' safety and well-being.

**To the International Cricket Council (ICC),** I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the upcoming cricket trophy in Pakistan. As an avid cricket fan living in the United States, I have traveled across the world to watch matches and support the sport I love. However, I am greatly concerned about the security and safety conditions in Pakistan. The recent escalation in target killings of civilians by the Pakistani government raises serious doubts about the safety of traveling to and attending events in the country. The well-being of players, officials, and fans should always be the top priority. I urge the ICC to carefully consider these issues and take necessary actions to ensure the safety of all involved in the tournament. Please choose any other country, such as India or Australia, for the trophy to ensure a safer environment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,
