🌿 Did you know? The transportation sector is the largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., accounting for 29% of total emissions in 2021 (source: EPA). 🚗 Many DOTs and MPOs lack in-house emissions tracking expertise, struggle to quantify the returns on investments like pedestrianization projects and bike lanes over time, or simply struggle to incentivize people to rethink their car-centric commutes. At Flow Labs, we're on a mission to change that. 💡 We partner with transportation agencies to reduce vehicle time on the road, curbing environmental emissions. But that's not all—our innovative project performance measurement tool empowers engineering teams to precisely quantify their projects' environmental impact. 📊 Forget lengthy fieldwork studies. With our tool, you can generate comprehensive, accurate reports in no time, providing insights into what improved, what didn't, by how much, and why. ✅ Curious to learn more? Check out this insightful Streetsblog article and reach out to our team to discover how we can help you reduce your environmental footprint. https://bit.ly/464lEbX

The National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy has been launched by the Biden-Harris administration. The initiative outlines a path forward for the freight transportation sector to increase fleet electric and hydrogen powered trucks and to invest in charging infrastructure nationwide. From 2024 to 2040 the initiative proposes strategic investments to facilitate zero emissions freight. This includes a 30% mix of Zero Emissions Medium and Heavy duty vehicles (ZE-MHDV) by 2030, gradually increasing to 100% by 2040. The four phases of the strategy will gradually build "priority hubs", connect the "hubs", then expand the "hubs" and achieve national scale. This strategic initiative is similar to the Biden-Harris proposal to transition light duty / passenger vehicle sales to 50% EV my by 2030, originally published in April 2023. #ev #sustainability #commercialtruck #charging #hydrogen

I help businesses deliver sustainable transformation which reduces their impact on our planet and ensures future financial growth
Fleet electrification is such an important part of a decarbonisation plan. Read Simon King's thoughts on this subject in the article below. #EV #sustainability #transformation
Fleet electrification is no longer optional; it’s a necessity, according to Simon King, Senior Partner at edenseven Fleet #Electrification is no longer a ‘nice-to-do’ thing; it is imperative, but why is that? In 2022, government figures showed that domestic transport was, by far, the sector emitting the most significant proportion of greenhouse gas (GHG), contributing 28% of UK GHG emissions. This figure came primarily from road transport, with the vast majority emitted from #cars and vans. Simon King https://bit.ly/3KtscIa

How can electric buses and EV charging infrastructure help businesses achieve their ESG goals? Electric buses are becoming a critical factor driving the future of sustainable transportation, with projections that half of the world's buses will be electric by 2032. Long-term savings and environmental benefits make EV buses and EV charging infrastructure a smart investment. Electric buses and EV charging infrastructure align with ESG goals by reducing emissions and improving air quality (environmental), offering long-term cost savings and resource conservation (governance), and engaging communities and stakeholders in sustainable practices (social responsibility). These aspects make them key contributors to ESG initiatives, supporting sustainability, responsible governance, and social engagement. https://zurl.co/tesq #ElecVulum #HobbsandCo #electricvehicles #evcharger #evcharging #infrastructure

Inspired by the future and what can be
1moThe great thing about this grant is that it also covers charging and infrastructure and it can be stacked with other state or local incentives!
