Day 3 of Project Scientist was a blast! 💥 These Irving ISD girls are in the middle of their Summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), and today they took a trip to CoreLogic where they learned about Artificial Intelligence 🤖 🧠 ✨, and went through a state-of-the-art Discovery Center where they had an immersive experience on climate risks. 🌎 Special thanks to Mr. Cooper & CoreLogic for making this amazing week possible, and to Project Scientist for empowering our students to follow their dreams! 💚 #GirlsInSTEM #ProjectScientist #IrvingISD

I had an absolutely phenomenal time at the NSF EXERCISE REU at Salisbury University! I learned a ton about the process of mathematical research, including literature reviews, collaboration, and presentation of results. My project was on researching topics in topological data analysis, with usage in dynamical systems. Outside of the lab, our REU group spent a lot of time together, such as making trips to DC, Ocean City, and Berlin; regularly cooking group meals, and playing so, so much Catan.
