Just because some IT and security pros have hero-like capabilities does not mean that is a healthy way to operate. Author Mary Carmichael explains why it’s probably best to hang up the cape: https://bit.ly/3XR9HWg
Great call out of something I see repeated again and again in IT cultures.

6dListen to cyber heroes with an open mind and caution, especially if they have an open mouth. Watch quite cyber quite expert, who just gets things done. Also inquire with caution to cyber innovators who claim to have made a major discovery. Many of us are delusional. The problem is those who are actual cyber creatives are overlooked due to the plethora of nut jobs and misinformation out there. e.g. My cyber discovery (I am not a delusional) Malware Secure Computer discovery which SAFELY open and process malware infected files, without the need or use of detection software. Using my exposure to a breadth of technologies during my 30+ years in electronic components (ROATI.com/bio), I discovered a NON-digital method data extraction and data transport to an isolated section where that NON-digital data is re-inserted into a digital file of the original files type. This process literally leaves malware behind for it is not processed. ROATI.com If you want please feel free to phone me. If not, then good luck doing what you always did and the same results you always got. #FundingPrograms #stopransomware #Industrialcyber #ResearchFunding #hospitalsecurity
