OCI held its inaugural convention in Nairobi, Kenya, hosted at the East Central Africa Division headquarters campus. Over 200 attendees, including delegates from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Ethiopia, gathered on Sabbath. The ministries' reports on their impactful work in advancing the Gospel in their regions were truly inspiring.
Following the convention, I swiftly traveled to Bulgaria, meeting with a couple keen on establishing an Outpost Center near Sofia, the capital. This center aims to minister to families while introducing them to Jesus.
Subsequently, in Turkey, I convened with our OCI board and other guests to discuss how OCI and its ministry affiliates could support work in the 10/40 window. This presents a significant opportunity to introduce millions to Jesus.
While introducing people to Jesus may vary in difficulty across regions, the need remains universal. Every nation, kindred, tongue, and people require Jesus. Are you actively engaged in this mission?
Please remember OCI in your prayers, as we seek the Holy Spirit's guidance in answering prayers and fulfilling our mission. Our vision is to establish a thriving network of lay ministries globally.
