When I hire for RevPartners, I’m helping our team to “Solve for CROs.” At RP, the team has a tremendous impact on clients, and it all starts with who we hire. CROs need problem solvers. Here are 5 traits I look for when hiring RevOps strategists: 🤔 Analytical thinking 🎯 Strategic foresight 🤝 Collaborative spirit 🧠 Process-oriented mindset 💬 Strong communication skills Our team tackles major bottlenecks in the lead conversion process for our partners (customers). CROs want skills like data analysis, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, and effective communication in their hires. And since I’m technically hiring for *their* teams, it’s constantly on my mind when vetting our awesome candidates! Big News at Atlanta Sneaks. We’ve hired our first full time employee! Meet Noah 👋🏽 Noah is a specialist in product media & main role is getting inventory posted for our client base. It’s cliche- but I’ll say it again. But now that I’ve hired our full time, I don’t know what I’d do without it. Here are my major realizations since the hire 1. Lean into the handful of profit maximizing tasks and outsource everything else. I now focus on sourcing and social media, both which make me x10 per hour compared to posting 2. You’re actually losing money by not hiring. The more time you must spend in the business costs more than a salary 3. You can’t expect someone to be at your standard out the gate when you’ve been doing for years and they’ve been doing it for days. Empathize with the learning curve and do everything in your power to make the learning curve light. Now that I’ve gotten a taste of it, I truly understand the importance. No billion dollar businesses are a 1 man team. Here’s to the first of many hires 🥂 -TRB

I rarely think you should tailor your resume for a position. This is one exception. If you're overqualified and you still want to be considered, take it down a notch. Think about what the JD asks for and how you can be "just right" for the role. You need to check the boxes. You also need to show that you can grow in the position as-is. Write down what you think their ideal candidate profile looks like. Fit your experience to just that. No more. No less. #jobhunting #resume #jobseekers
