A military pause is a very welcome necessary spark. Hopefully it will become possible to organize some very dearly needed relief. However, it is the first step, the real structural solution is in dialog & nonviolent interaction as equals between the 80% non-radicals on both sides. Cutting off aid to all #refugees is the very definition of collective punishment. If my tax dollars are paying to destroy homes, destroy hospitals, and displace people, then yes I want my tax dollars to at least pay for #refugee care. I live in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty, at least per the law, and allegations are not the same as proof. Individual allegations are not the same as organizational culpability. As a #business owner myself, in a "bro" space, I know I am responsible, to an extent, for the behaviors and actions of those who work for me. That said, my job is to be aware of what is happening, within my scope (but not to become one of those creepy employers on #surveillance either) and to take actions when needed. I have left jobs where my oversight role and my interpretation of my level of responsibility did not match that of other executives or board (who wanted to sweep things under the rug) whereas I do believe supervisors and employers have responsibility. I am not into making excuses. I am into rule of law, due process, fairness, evidence, and appropriate #accountability. I am not responsible for the whole of someone's life outside of work or what their friends post on social media. "Connected to" is very vague and we know in the U.S. students get mislabeled when ICE sees friends' post on social media. Having friends with questionable social media posting would make all of us "guilty" of something.

This report was issued yesterday. I didn’t post it because it made me furious about the diabolical actions of the US. The cut of UNRWA aid and US coordination with allies is a weaponization of aid for 2 purposes. Negotiating to obtain captives and eliminate Hamas and secondly to take full control of ALL Palestinian aid, policies and dictates. There is ZERO intention of the US participating or supporting Palestinian sovereignty. US has never voted for this. US intends a new form of oppression and PA compliance by using money control in which case US will impose limited rights and de facto governance of Palestinians under U.S. dictates—all of which is a failed strategy. US has gone so far as to make a coup of the UN and install itself as world dictator. This is extremely dangerous for global stability and enshrines a world of constant conflict. P.s. The amount of aid / humanitarian support is not clearly defined as stated by analysts.
