Amity University participated in the National Space Day at AICTE Headquarters, New Delhi – Creating a Space Ecosystem: A New Era- Igniting Young Minds for Space Exploration! On 20th August 2024, Amity University, Noida and AMITY University Gurgaon was proud to participate in the National Space Day Event hosted at AICTE Headquarters, New Delhi co-Hosted by AICTE & ISpA- Indian Space Association at AICTE AUDITORIUM, NEW DELHI on 20th August, 2024. The event, themed "Creating a Space Ecosystem: A New Era of Igniting Young Minds for Space Exploration," featured insightful sessions from pioneers in space technology, space scientists, engineers, and educational leaders. A highlight of the event was the launch of the Model Curriculum in Space Technology and the unveiling of the book ‘Introduction to Finite Element Analysis’, authored by Dr. Somanath S, Chairman ISRO & Secretary DoS, and Dr. S. Unnikrishnan Nair, Director VSSC - Indian Space Research Organization. This comprehensive textbook makes finite element analysis accessible to all, bridging the gap between theory and application. Representing Amity, Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President of the Amity Science, Technology and Innovation Foundation (ASTIF), contributed to a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Academic Ecosystems to Support Space Education,” emphasizing the role of educational institutions in shaping future space explorers.
