When we have sales calls with telecoms companies, we always ask them what their USP is, why the prospects within their footprint would go to them over another competitor. Why do we do this? Because there are so many telcos offering competitive deals to their customers and new leads, that they need to have something that sets them apart from the others. Whether this is your exceptional customer service process, the fact that your network is independent and exclusive to you and not anything to do with Openreach, the various free vouchers that you offer to new customers, or something else… with the amount of competitors in your market, you need to make sure you have something in your arsenal to make sure you stay on top of your game. So my question to my connections in the telecoms industry is… What’s your USP?
