Thanks to everyone visiting the Siemens Hydrogen booth during the European Hydrogen Week in Brussels! 🌍 My personal fair highlights: 1. The #hydrogen market is booming globally, driven by the shift towards green energy and sustainability. I was personally very happy to see the "North Sweden Pavilion" coming together to create not only a green transition of heavy industry but also strong economic growth in northern Sweden. 🇸🇪♻️ 2. Focus on enhancing electrolyser equipment—increasing performance, durability, and reducing costs is paramount. Scaling fast and adapting product designs along the way is vital for success. 🚀 3. Germany's commitment to a rapid green hydrogen ramp-up remains strong, despite challenges. The recent announcement by the European Commission on the 2.2 billion EUR hydrogen bank auction in '24 underscores the continued political support for the hydrogen economy in the EU. 🇩🇪💚 #euhydrogenweek #hydrogenindustry

Great to be a part of Hydrogen Metropole Ruhr's European Backbone Talk in Brussels last Tuesday! Rotterdam places major importance on a European hydrogen infrastructure, and it's great to see that so many other regions share this perspective - North Rhine-Westphalia, Flanders, Catalonia, Hauts-de-France, the list goes on... It was very interesting to discuss this in our panel and in the workshops. A particular priority of the City of Rotterdam is working on a broad hydrogen ecosystem. This includes large scale import, local production and use in industry, but also technology development, trading platforms, business services and education. We need it all if we want to make this hydrogen moonshot happen. Europe shares this perspective, as evidenced by instruments like the Just Transition Fund and the Hydrogen Valley Platform - and we need to keep this approach going after the upcoming European elections. #EuropesHydrogenHub Wouter Demenint Klaas van Staalduine Anne S. ✅ The European Hydrogen Week, aiming to bring the entire hydrogen sector in one place for a whole week, took place from 20-24 November 2023 in Brussels. GreenH2CY team had the opportunity to interact with various experts and to discuss policy, technology, and market. A meeting with Hydrogen Europe also took place to discuss on the status of GreenH2CY project. 💡Stakeholders from the whole hydrogen value chain were there for four days of high-level conferences, B2B forums, panels discussions, and networking. Exhibitors populated the exhibition floor presenting their hydrogen-related products, solutions, and projects. Participants had a unique opportunity to see the latest advancements in electrolyser and fuel cell technology. 🤝This year’s edition of the European Hydrogen Week has come to an end, but efforts to enable the hydrogen economy must continue. #GreenH2CY #greenhydrogen #EUHydrogenWeek
