This is probably the smartest Lockheed L1049H Super Constellation. The story of REAL Aerovias, Redes Estaduais Aéreas Ltda, begins with the vision of two former TACA pilots, Vicente Mammana Netto and Linneu Gomes. These two aviation enthusiasts laid the airline's foundation. They also started Aerovias Brasil, a Brazilian airline that later formed a consortium with Real. Real Airlines ordered four L1049H aircraft in May 1957 to compete with Varig. These Super Connies were delivered in February/March 1958 and served routes connecting Buenos Aires to Trinidad, Caracas, and Miami/Chicago. As time passed, the airline expanded its services to include Bogota, Mexico, and Los Angeles. In May 1960, the Los Angeles route was extended to Tokyo via Honolulu and Wake Island. However, the expansion took its toll on the airline, leading to Varig's gradual purchase of the consortium Real-Aerovias-Nacional between May and August 1961. The Skybus Fleet of four De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-6 Twin Otters and three Britten-Norman BN-2 Islanders are the backbone of existing fixed wing air passenger and air freight capability linking the mainland to the Isles of Scilly But that is not all...... As part of Open Skies Cornwall the fleet are also being used to validate data collected from our ground based sensor network and UTM offer during routine ops and later in the year will commence some special ops to support our Intergrated Airspace trial plan with the Civil Aviation Authority innovation & Sandbox teams. Another fine example how stakeholders in Cornwall and tech providers are working hand in hand to deliver future flight objectives under the #OpenSkies banner.

Please look carefully at such publications… Aeroflot Group will buy whatever it is told, no matter how long the delay is going to be. First of all, till now SJ-100s have been assigned only to the fleet of member of the group Rossia Airlines. Aeroflot Airlines itself does not have such type and new ones have nothing to do with SU itself. Soon or later they will come. Secondly, Tu-214 can be produced by factory in Kazan in a quantity of 4-5 per annum - not a big deal. There will be enough other customers. But…the key moment is that this type was designed according to ancient standards - with third person in the cockpit (board engineer). For SU this is the showstopper, no matter the design bureau and the producer promised to “look at the issue” MC-21 needs to prove its operational efficiency. Maybe it will be better than its Chinese rival (and potential alternative for SU) which is already operational? Let’s see….
