A punch list specialist and a handyman are two VERY different roles when it comes to construction or remodeling projects. 🛠️ ⤵️ A punch list specialist is a professional who specializes in identifying and rectifying the specific issues or deficiencies (known as "punch list items") that need to be addressed before a construction project can be considered complete. ✔️ They have a keen eye for detail and are knowledgeable about industry standards and building codes. Their primary focus is on ensuring that the final product meets the required quality and safety standards.👍 Have you ever hired a punch list specialist for your project? 🤔 #punchlist #construction #projectcompletion #skilledlabor

This is not what I planned, but I like it. I've had the unique opportunity to step into the role of General Contractor for my parents' home renovation. This experience has allowed me to flex my project management muscles by coordinating materials and scheduling city permitting officials, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, flooring specialists, painters, drywall installers, and HVAC technicians. While this may not be the industry I initially planned to utilize my PM certification in, it has proven to be an invaluable test of my skills and an opportunity to put theory into practice. Every project, big or small, presents a chance to learn and grow. I'm excited to continue honing my project management expertise in different ways until I land a role in land management or natural resource conservation. #ProjectManagement #RealWorldExperience #Adaptability
